The Do Not Service Process (DNS) is an accountability and remediation program established by the Atlanta Vendors Association, Inc. (AVA) to uphold ethical business practices, protect client relationships, and strengthen vendor integrity across the community.

Aligned with AVA’s mission to promote transparency, compliance, and professional growth, the DNS process is restorative. It provides vendors with a structured, fair opportunity to correct deficiencies in areas such as account receivables, rebuilding trust, and re-establish good standing within the network.

The DNS Process Exists To:

  • Ensure that all vendor members adhere to the laws, ethics, and standards set forth by Atlanta Vendors Association, Inc and is applicable through guidance.
  • Safeguard clients and the vendor from practices that compromise quality, integrity, or compliance.
  • Offer a constructive pathway for vendors to remedy issues and demonstrate accountability.
  • Vendors may receive a Do Not Service (DNS) flagged alert if they repeatedly fail to meet compliance, contractual, or ethical standards as well as under review for unresolved client disputes, nonpayment.
  • Reinstatement evaluation upon successful completion and re-assessment for reinstatement to active membership status.
